Affiliation with New Dawn

See that streaming line of mini-banner advertisements on every roleplaying forum nowadays? Do you really visit them? (Except, perhaps when you’re looking to advertise your site…) Do the ads really work if twenty or thirty banners (or more!) scroll past? Is it more than just visual noise?

At New Dawn, we’ve decided to take a different approach to affiliation. We believe it should be something more than just a basic advertisement exchange: we want to be proud of the sites we link to from our home page. We want to love your board and root for it to thrive. We want you to do the same for New Dawn.

Thus our policy is this: All sites can post an ad in our advertisements area, provided they follow the basic rules, but we won’t approve everyone for affiliation. Is this selective? Yes. But we think this is a better option: better for our players and for the visitors to the site.

What are we looking for? Great story concept. Quality writing/posts. Friendly staff. A site that is, if not pretty to look at, at least well organized and easy to navigate with colors that don’t hurt the eyes. No, it doesn’t need to be an X-Men site, but it does need to be a play-by-post writing forum.

So if you think your site is worth a gander, let us know by replying to this thread. We’ll take a look at your board and get back to you, letting you know if we want to affiliate. If we do, we’ll put your banner up on our home page expect you to post our mini-banner on your site in return. (See below for the code.)
